Here’s a fall fashion trend I just can’t explain my undying love for- plaid shirts around the waist. I don’t understand the appeal but there’s something bad a** about a chick with ripped jeans/ high wasted shorts, a graphic tee and a beanie. Street style is seriously taking over this season. It’s also a really easy way to emphasize your waist and create an hour- glass shaped silhouette without looking like a stuck- up b*tch. I suggest you steal your boyfriend’s/ brother’s plaid shirts and wrap them around your waist, no point in working too hard when you’re trying to pull off a grungy look anyway. Also, don’t be afraid to play with the patterns! I went all out and mixed leopard printed booties and a plaid shirt and got a lot of compliments! This is your chance to dress like they did in the first version of 90210.
